Volunteer Accommodation

Cymdeithas Rheilffordd Eryri / Welsh Highland Railway Society’s volunteer accommodation at Dinas, the property known as Station View, is available for use by both Society members and others volunteering on both the WHR and FfR with effect from 12^th April.

The accommodation comprises two bedrooms for sharing and one single room; along with shared bathroom facilities; shared kitchen/ dinner and a lounge.

Bookings can now be accepted for more than one person but only one person or more than one person from the same household or ‘bubble’ may share one of the twin rooms at any one time. Single usage will be at the single room rate.

There is parking for two cars on-site with additional parking at the rear. Facilities for camping are not yet available.

Provision of facilities for motorhomes and small caravans.

There is now a space for a maximum of three of the above vehicles.

There are three electrical hook up points with a standard 16amp connection available plus water taps.

The same regulations as for staying at the Station View house apply but also please note:

There is no provision for the disposal of ‘brown water’.
‘Grey water’ can currently be disposed of via the drain at the rear of the house.
Rubbish and items for recycling can be disposed of in the appropriate bins at the front of the house. Recycling bins should be put out on a Friday evening for collection early on Saturday morning. Please return the bins from the road once they are empty. Household rubbish (green bin) is collected three weekly, running from 16^th April 2021.
Please ensure that you shut and lock the gates into the Station Yard, especially at night. If you do not have a standard A padlock key there is one in a keysafe, marked – Motorhomes, in the small shed at the rear of the house. Please return the key to the keysafe after use. You will be given a code for the keysafe when you make your booking.
