Paying Subscriptions
New members should have filled in the Membership Form first before paying - see the menu above.
We also ask existing members who are renewing their subscriptions to fill in the Membership Renewal Form first in order to confirm their details.
Please note:
1. The Society's subscription year starts on 1st March. Where age is mentioned in the membership categories below, it means the person's age on 1st March in the present calendar year.
2. Subscriptions of new members joining from 1st October get membership for the following year included. Five months bonus!
3. The Student rate is for those in full time higher or further education
Making Donations
Make a donation towards our activities in support of the railway by one of the methods below.
Many members generously choose to add a donation to their subscription and this does much to help the charitable activities of the Society. You can include it with your payment below or use the PayPal "Donate" button.
Leave us a Legacy
If you would like to include a legacy to the Society in your will, please contact the membership secretary at the address below.
How to Pay
There are several ways to pay:
1. Internet banking
This is our preferred method of payment as it avoids our incurring fees from PayPal
Important notes:
1. Membership renewals: if you use Internet Banking to renew membership please be sure to quote your membership number with the payment so that we can trace who it is from! New members should state "new member" with the payment
2. New members must fill in the online application form on this website before paying the subscription. It is helpful if renewing members would also fill in the form when they renew in order to confirm their details especially their Gift Aid declaration
For donations please state donation with the payment or email the membership secretary to say how you woud like us to use the donation.

3. Cheque
Complete the online membership form or download a copy of the membership application form, fill it in and post with a cheque to the membership secretary. Please include an SAE with your cheque.
In the case of donations please add a note to say how you would like the money used
