Rebuilding the railway and recreating one of Britain’s most spectacular rail journeys simply wouldn’t have been possible without them. Every single penny received makes a difference to keep the dream alive.
All donations are warmly welcomed, and if there’s a project or cause that is particularly important to you then you can donate to a specific appeal. Leave a lasting legacy
Continue to help us keep the dream alive even after you’re gone by leaving a legacy in your will. Your legacy is our future, and means that generations down the line can also discover and fall in love with the Welsh Highland Railway. Leaving a legacy benefitting Cymdeithas Rheilffordd Eryri can be done in a few straightforward steps:
- Discuss with your solicitor your wish to leave a legacy including any specific bequests and the type of gift you’d like to leave.
- Use the right wording to make sure your legacy fulfils your intentions.
- Let us know, if you’d like, so we can take into consideration any specific bequests and express our gratitude, whether publicly or privately.
Leaving a legacy is a very personal decision and we are happy to help accommodate your wishes however we can. To find out more information about how to leave a legacy and discuss any questions you may have, please get in touch with our membership team who will be happy to assist.
Alternative donation options
We welcome donations in all forms, including cheque and bank transfer. We also accept foreign currency and old notes! If you would like to donate to the Society via bank transfer please contact the donations and fundraising team.
