Ar y cychwyn, roedd Rheilffordd Ucheldir Cymru yn rhedeg o Dinas, ger Caernarfon, heibio troed Yr Wyddfa a thrwy bentref Beddgelert i Borthmadog. Mae hanes y rheilffordd yn deillio\u2019n \u00f4l i 1825 ac fe\u2019i gweithiwyd mewn adrannau hyd nes ei hagorwyd yn llawn yn 1923. Fodd bynnag, nid oedd y rheilffordd yn talu\u2019i ffordd ac fe\u2019i caewyd yn 1937.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.37), 18px);\" class=\"coblocks-animate wp-block-paragraph\" data-coblocks-animation=\"fadeIn\">Dechreuodd Cwmni Rheilffordd Ffestiniog, oedd yn gweithredu\u2019r lein yn yr 1930au, i ail-agor y lein yn yr 1990au ac ail-agorwyd yr adran o Gaernarfon i Dinas yn 1997. Trwy ymdrech ddyfal o adeiladu\u2019r lein trwy olygfeydd ysgythrog Eryri, agorwyd fesul adran nes y cwblhawyd y lein gyfan yn 2011, gan greu rheilffordd treftadaeth hiraf y DU - yn 25 milltir o hyd a chreu un o deithiau tr\u00ean mwyaf adnabyddus y byd ar yr un amser.
